Alberto T. Rosas

Administrative Law Judge, Sacramento

Alberto T. Rosas was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He graduated from San Francisco State University in 2006, summa cum laude, where he obtained two B.A. degrees (English and Criminal Justice). He received his J.D. in 2009 from the University of San Francisco School of Law. He was admitted to the California Bar in 2009.

Mr. Rosas started his legal career in private practice.  From 2010 to 2014, he was an associate attorney at two Bay Area law firms, and his experience included general civil litigation with an emphasis on business law, real estate law, and trusts and estates. From 2014 to 2017, he was an attorney with the California Franchise Tax Board. He joined the California Office of Tax Appeals in November 2017.

Mr. Rosas currently serves on the boards of directors of two local nonprofits.  He is a member of numerous organizations, including the American Inns of Court.  Additionally, he volunteers and serves as a temporary judge for the Superior Court of California, County of Sacramento.
