Andrew J. Kwee

Andrew Kwee received his B.A., with degrees in Political Science, Sociology, and Law and Society, from the University of California, San Diego in 2004, on a full-tuition academic scholarship.  He received his J.D., with a certificate in Public Interest Law, from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2007 and his LL.M. in Taxation from the New York University School of Law in 2008.  Mr. Kwee is admitted to practice in California (2007), New Jersey (2008), and New York (2009).

During law school, Mr. Kwee served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Joseph H. Huber, on the Santa Clara County Superior Court, and worked for private practitioners specializing in family law and bankruptcy law.  From 2008 until 2017, he worked as a Tax Counsel in the Tax & Fee Programs and Appeals Divisions at the California State Board of Equalization, where he was primarily involved in business tax matters.  Mr. Kwee was appointed as an Administrative Law Judge with the Office of Tax Appeals on November 27, 2017.
