Michael F. Geary received his B.A. degree from University of California, Davis, and his J.D. Degree from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Mr. Geary’s law practice focused on civil litigation, until his time at the Special Education Hearing Office, then part of McGeorge School of Law, where he adjudicated disputes between California school districts and the parents or guardians of persons with special needs. Mr. Geary joined the Legal Department of the Board of Equalization (later the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration), where he remained until joining the Office of Tax Appeals.
