Nguyen Dang

Nguyen Dang received his B.A. in cognitive science from the University of California, Berkeley, and his J.D. and LL.M. in taxation from Chapman University School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Dang was a successful owner and operator of a boutique loudspeaker testing and manufacturing business and online audio community.  As a volunteer taxpayer representative at both Chapman Law School’s Low Income Taxpayer Clinic and the Board of Equalization’s Taxpayer Appeals Assistance Program, as well as in private practice, Mr. Dang represented taxpayers of all backgrounds on a wide variety of state and federal tax issues. Before joining the Office of Tax Appeals, Mr. Dang served many years as an appeals conference holder for the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration, issuing decisions on sales and use tax and special tax and fee cases.
