Natasha Ralston received her B.A. from San Francisco State University, and her J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law.

Ms. Ralston started her legal career in private practice where she practiced family law and workers’ compensation law.  Ms. Ralston subsequently joined the Legal Department of the Board of Equalization in (now the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration) prior to joining the Office of Tax Appeals.
