Veronica I. Long received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2009, and her Juris Doctor from McGeorge School of Law in 2014. She was admitted to the California bar in 2014. Ms. Long began her career as a Tax Counsel at the California Franchise Tax Board, where she worked in the Settlement and General Tax Bureaus for more than seven years. Immediately prior to joining the Office of Tax Appeals, she worked as an associate in the tax practice group of Boutin Jones, Inc.

Ms. Long served on the Taxation Section Executive Committee of the California Lawyers Association from 2018 to 2022, and as Editor-in-Chief of the California Tax Lawyer from 2020 to 2022.
